This course will enhance entrepreneurs, contract, proposal, and human resources staff understanding of the Service Contract Act, Davis Bacon Act and Collective Bargaining Agreements in federal procurement. Learn the rules for obtaining wage increases at option or anniversary years; the rules for vacation and other benefits, including benefits management in the transition from a predecessor contractor; how collective bargaining impacts your contract in option years; and important factors to consider in collective bargaining negotiations.
Course level: Intermediate
Contractors with workforces covered by the Service Contract Act or Davis Bacon Act and subject to wage determinations should attend. Appropriate for business owners, human resources and labor personnel, contract staff and proposal staff.
